Royal Wedding Celebration

Hey y'all!

I'm sorry it's been 100 years since you've heard a blog post from me separately. It has been a crazy month and a half for me, between finishing up school and prepping for studying abroad (I need to start packing!). So without further ado, let's talk about the Royal Wedding and how I celebrated it 😍👑

For Kate and William's wedding (I can't believe that was 7 years ago), my mom and I woke up in the wee hours of the morning (let's be honest it was probably 5:30/6:00am) to watch live. However, this year we decided to record it and sleep-in until 9am (wise choice honestly). My grandma and grandpa were in town so we all watched together. My dad sat in his fat chair and enjoyed the wedding too.

The three of us ladies plus my other grandma all went to the National Churchill Museum because they were having a celebration there starting at 4pm. At the museum, we watched a video of highlights from the wedding. I think the bridesmaids and page boys are my favorite part 😍After the video, we went down into the actual museum where they had a wedding dress display of all kinds of dresses (some even dating back to the late 1800s). There were also tea sandwiches, cupcakes, tea and punch. The cupcakes were made by one of the ladies who volunteers at the museum and they were TO DIE FOR.

The pictures were both taken in front of the chapel the first one is from standing in the yard and

the second is in front of the door into the chapel. The dress I am wearing is from Francesca's that I got on sale to wear while I am in Italy. My shoes are from Nordstrom (I think they're BP and I couldn't find one's like them online but I think these are cute) and they are SO comfortable. The hat I am wearing is a oyster colored, wool hat with a satin bow (it's my mom's I think it belonged to one of my grandmas). The bag I am carrying is the MK bag my brother got me for my birthday! (I couldn't find the one I have online in the same colors but this is the bag in different colors)

I know this post is short but I hope you enjoyed reading it!

XO,

Rose
