How to Dress Cute But Comfortable (Priorities People)

Hey y’all!

So, today I thought I would write about an outfit that looks cute but is beyond comfortable. I wore this outfit to church this past Sunday and actually wore it the entire day. Let’s get started:

Outfit

This outfit looks pretty similar to the one from our Our Story + Our Go-To Outfits since I am wearing the same chambray and white cami. However, instead of black jeans I am wearing black leggings. I do love the black jeans but nothing compares to a pair of leggings. My two favorites are the Ultimate PINK leggings and the Salar Solid Powerhold Fabletics leggings. The ones I am wearing in this picture are the Fabletics ones. This is my only pair of Fabletics leggings but I definitely want more because I loveee them. For shoes I am wearing a pair of Michael Kors flats that are a nude/pink (depending on the light they look more nude or pink). They are quilted, have a black lining with a bow and gold MK charm. I got them at DSW so there is not a link for them. The finishing touch of the outfit is the small Michael Kors Crossbody. The one I have is no longer available however I linked one that is similar!

Makeup

For makeup that day I went with the "No makeup makeup look." I start with Simple

Replenishing Moisturizer and the Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray (per usual) and then I use the Makeup Forever Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder Foundation for my foundation. I love this powder foundation because it's a beautiful coverage but it's very light! The rest of my facial routine is the same as the SUNDAY FUNDAY article. For eyes however I curl my lashes and then use the Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara without eyeliner. For lips I wore the Kylie Cosmetics Gloss in the shade Candy K. I absolutely love this color!

This is a great way to keep your looks simple and comfortable, but still fashionable. Another great thing about this look is it's easy to throw together several variations on it. For a more dressed down look you could do a flannel, or instead of flats you could wear a nice pair of ankle boots. Play around, and see what you like.

Have a great weekend!

XO,

Rose
